Pastor dR. Simbo odunaiya

Pastor Dr. Simbo Odunaiya is a distinguished engineer, academic, and faith leader whose career seamlessly bridges the worlds of cutting-edge technology and transformational ministry across over three decades of dedicated service.

Dr. Odunaiya retired as a Senior Research Engineer in Avionics Engineering and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Ohio University after more than 32 years, a career marked by rigorous intellectual achievement and a commitment to advancing the field of aerospace technology. His academic and engineering contributions have laid a strong foundation for a second calling equally defined by excellence and purpose.

A founding member of Christ International Community Church (CICC) since 1993, Dr. Odunaiya has served the congregation in virtually every capacity imaginable, from Church Treasurer and Men's Ministry Leader to Chair of the Board of Trustees and Associate Pastor, before ultimately stepping into his current role as Senior Pastor. His ascent through church leadership reflects not only the trust and respect of his congregation, but a lifetime of spiritual formation and servant leadership.

As Senior Pastor, Dr. Odunaiya is particularly passionate about equipping young people to live with purpose, boldness, and faith. His ministry is defined by practical, relatable Bible teaching, intentional mentorship, and a genuine heart for helping individuals navigate life's challenges in alignment with God's calling. Together with his wife, Dr. Oluwatoyin Odunaiya, and their seven children, he models the very family values and community spirit he champions from the pulpit.
